Getting ready to layout (place) the physical components of a network:

Linksys BEFCMU10 cable modem, WRT54GS wireless Router, and an EPSX3 print server. Would like to “stack” them together and be able to observe their function lights.

Now my question is how close can the wireless router be to things like speakers, monitor, computer, etc before “transmission” issues appear?

Then after everything is physically located (printers, computers, etc) and whatever require cables are run, will start trying my hand at “setting up” the network!

You *shouldn't* have any issues w/ interference between the components you mention. I probably wouldn't set the networking equipment on the monitor (or the monitor on the networking equipment ).
