Yes it is as I was charged £6.69 + £12.00 postage = £18.69, But I have purchased a replacement scanner and manged to go and collect the item and it works.

On the CD that comes with the scanners there is some very important info that makes the thing work correctly, The control panel with all the important buttons on.

That is the reason why I am reluctant to purchase motherboards or CPUs of E-bay.

Hi,
I am having exactly the same problem with the same type of scanenr, however I plugged the scanner in before installing the software, how do i delete all traces of the scanner (without reformatting) so i can try again?
